Wondering if this is a decent deal or not. Artist control has been discontinued and replaced by avid dock, a compact control surface that accelerates mixing and editing tasks through deep tactile and touchscreen control.

Since buying my avid setup in 2014 i have been fighting to get the three artist panels (control, color and mix) to work properly.

The artist mix is very compact and fits easily between any monitor and keyboard for easy, portable access. This means as of now the artist transport is no longer considered a current avid product and could well also mean no further development for its use will be.

I know s1 is a better product but. I know they were just discontinued so have about 5 years left of support from avid.
